West Bengal Assembly Election 2016



first phase:- 80% polling in West Bengal first phase

Second phase:- As it happened: West Bengal Phase II polls records 79.70 p.c.

Third phase:-  polls, 79.22 per cent voter turnout recorded

Forth Phase:-  A total of 67 percent polling was recorded till 3 p.m. in two districts of West Bengal where fourth phase of Assembly elections were held on Monday, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

Assam Assembly Election 2016

78% polling in Assam first phase


First Phase:- Sixty-five of the 126 Assembly constituencies in Assam go to the polls today, deciding the fate of 539 candidates, including high-profile ones like Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and the BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate Sarbananda Sonowal.

The stakes are high for key national and regional players. The ruling BJP has a winning chance only in Assam, where it has stitched an alliance with the Asom Gana Parishad and the Bodoland People’s Front. The saffron party likes to see this as an “indigenous people’s” alliance.

Second Phase:- Assam witnessed 78.09 per cent voter turnout in the second and last phase of polling for 61 constituencies at 5 pm on Monday.


Kerala Assembly Election 2016

Kerala Legislative Assembly house to finish its 5 year tenure in April, 2016 it self. Same as Assam, in Kerala too, Congress lead UDF is in power since long. But in Kerala, unlike assam, BJP has equal to zero presence but recent win of BJP in civic poll, gives some hope to party members.. The main opposition is CPI (M) lead LDF. Out of 140 assembly seats, UDF ruling on 72 seats.
